Allow us a piece of advice: the cost of the room must be evaluated in light of other factors besides its proximity to the faculty; especially that of expenses beyond the rent! In the €/month column of the Availability and costs page you will find, in bold, an amount that includes the monthly rent and the Fixed Expenses (the amounts in brackets).

In our contracts the expenses are clear and all flat-rate except electricity and gas! This means that, not considering the electricity and gas bills, it is possible to know immediately what the expense will be: expenses without surprises is our motto! The electricity and gas costs are not included as their amount is too variable (more or less cold winter, desired temperature at home, presence at home) but they will be paid by the owners and reimbursed by the girls with the rent of the following month: no contract to make/cancel, no unpaid bills due to forgetfulness, only the amount to be reimbursed. You will appreciate the convenience!

The “fixed expenses” include all expenses (other than electricity and gas) including:

  • Fast Internet connection
  • Drinking water and purification
  • Urban waste collection
  • Elevator
  • Stair cleaning
  • Condominium
  • 2 sets of bed linen and towels for each room (only via Foscolo and via Crispi)

Now let’s consider the costs for heating: Macerata is 315 m. above sea level and winter is often cold for those who come from milder climates. If the cost of electricity is given only by how many appliances are used, the cost of gas varies greatly depending on the size of the apartment, its thermal insulation and the number of inhabitants/payers. An apartment “in the middle” rather than on the first / last floor, the thermostat inside the apartment and, above all, its thermal insulation (including the fixtures) can make a big difference 😉
